Students in grades 6 through 12 have the opportunity to be issued a “Netbook” Laptop for the duration of their Middle School and High School education. Parents and Students must both sign the Laptop Agreement and the Acceptable Use Policy in order for the student to receive a Netbook. Both documents can be downloaded below.

Logging in for the first time:

When you first receive your netbook you will need to login and create a password:

  • Power on the computer
  • Login as “firstname.lastname” using the password "falcons12"
    • You will be required to set a password unique to you.
    • Click ‘OK’
      • Enter the old password "falcons12" (First Field)
      • Enter your New password (Second Field)
      • Confirm your password (Third Field)
    • You will be informed that your password has been changed.
    • Click “OK” to continue logging in.

Tips for Proper Care and Use 

It is recommended that you take EXTREME CARE of your device:

    Do not loan computer or charger.

    Really no need to bring to specials.

    Be accountable for computers at all times—log out when away for extended period.

    Charge battery each and every night.

    Turn computer on after entering building and off before leaving

    Do not put computer in backpack

    Do not eat or drink around computer

    Do not try to disassemble or fix computer, contact teacher if problem arises

    If possible, keep computer in protective cases.  (Staples & WalMart have these)

    Do not stack anything on computer

    Do not place stickers on computer

    Save files in folders or gapps account

    Close computers before carrying

    Do not carry by screen ($70 for broken screen)

    Be sure to understand AUP – (Read aloud to Group)


Damages:

YOU are responsible for damages to your computer, as you agreed to when you signed the Laptop Agreement. This includes broken plastics, broken screens, lost/missing parts, etc.

WE are responsible for making sure the computer is in working condition. This includes replacing faulty hard drives, keyboards, motherboards, etc; any item that can malfunction due to workmanship, NOT negligence.

LCD Screen: $69.99
Keyboard: $19.99
Plastics: $17.99-24.99(each).
